Located
on beautiful Front Street at the heart of historic downtown
Marietta, Ohio, Turquoise Spirit is unique to the region
with a wide selection of authentic Native American turquoise
and silver jewelry made by Navajo, Zuni and Hopi artists.
Owners
Barb and Doug Griener have been in business for over 10
years. A long-time fascination for Native American jewelry
and artwork brought them to a decision to showcase these
pieces. They make regular trips to the reservations and
the southwest area and enjoy hand selecting all of the
many beautiful pieces that stock their shop, many that
are "one-of-a-kind".
Traditional as well as contemporary silver jewelry fill
the showcases. Some of the stones and shells you will
find in this beautiful jewelry are turquoise, lapis, coral,
spiny oyster, tiger eye, malachite, amber, opal and more!
Navajo as well as Zuni inlay pieces are plentiful and
jewelry by Effie C. is featured.
Different types of pottery that we carry include Navajo, Hopi,
Acoma, Santa Clara, Jemez, and Sioux, as well as art by well
known and emerging Indian artists. Regular buying trips to
the reservations of the Southwestern US keep this fascinating
shop brimming with both new and traditional artifacts of the
